Trotman came up one match short of becoming an All-American.
Austin Trotman had a busy week of wrestling by competing for Team North Carolina
at USA Wrestling’s Junior Nationals in Fargo, ND.
Juniors Nationals is consider by many to be the toughest tournament in the
country for 17-19 year olds. It isn't uncommon to see high school state
champions go 0-2 for the tournament. The
level of competition for this tournament is unlike any other. Junior Nationals features two separate styles
of Olympic wrestling. One is Greco-Roman while the other is freestyle.
